What is a pacemaker?
A pacemaker is a 3-5 cm thick device that is inserted into patients with certain types of arrhythmias during minimally invasive surgery. The pacemaker’s job is to measure your heart rate and provide electricity if your heartbeat is not working properly.

When is the departure speed necessary?

Our heart works with electrical continuity. Electrical conduction occurs somewhere in the heart called the SA node – and it is transmitted to the heart in a special way, causing the heart muscle to contract and thus pumping blood into the aorta. In order for the amount of blood flowing from the right ventricle to be equal to the amount of blood in the left ventricle, these two parts of the heart must be carefully adjusted.

Many heart diseases block this pathway of the heart. In the worst cases, it causes the heart to fail to circulate properly and then oxygen and nutrients, eventually leading to death.

Some diseases can be treated with medication. But if this is not enough or there is a high risk of developing arrhythmias that can lead to death, a pacemaker is needed.

How do travelers work?

After a proper diagnosis, a cardiologist or internal medicine physician will visit the pacemaker. The cardiologist will discuss with the patient in advance that some medications should be discontinued before surgery. Here we are talking specifically about blood purifiers.

On the other hand, unlike coronary artery surgery, open-heart surgery does not require surgical pacemaker transplantation. This is the least invasive cardiac intervention.

Today, most pacemakers perform surgery.

They are performed under local anesthesia. The patient may be given sleeping pills. After examining the effects of insomnia medications, the pacemaker procedure is initiated, when parts of the skin under the collar bone are inserted. The doctor then made a small incision (between 4-7 cm). In this way, lead to the heart is detected and electrodes (1 or 2 wires) that control the heart are pushed into the arteries.

The other end of the electrode is then attached to the pacemaker and is ready to be pushed under the patient’s skin. Finally, the wound heals and is re-examined. Chest, you can go to the hospital 24 hours after the holiday.

Risks and complications of pacemaker surgery.

As pacemaker implants intervene, problems remain. These include localized electrode displacement, bleeding, thrombosis, tamponade (pericardial tamponade) (which begins with bleeding between the myocardium and the surrounding skin or immune system), electrical transmission to the diaphragm muscles, and more. Before starting the pacemaker, all the risks are revealed in person. Device defects or general system malfunctions are usually detected immediately after the pacemaker operation.

Office care testing is the usual way to handle and achieve the best results of pacemaker surgery. It has been tested. In-house or cardiologist. In this further experiment. If necessary, you can take special steps as follows. The pacemaker system battery condition is also monitored. This monitoring should be done every 6 to 12 months.

You will be given control of the pacemaker system. You must always have a heart controller ID. (Report this to Airport Security Training, e.g.
